As the Clerk, Recorder, and Registrar of Voters for Humboldt County, he is committed to ensuring that all voters have convenient and equal access to voting.

Nicole Goldbach is the Elections Manager for the County of Humboldt. Although a California native, she moved to Humboldt in October of last year from Austin, TX where she began her career in government.

He's involved in our community as a youth mentor, President of the Eureka branch #1036 of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and board member for several local nonprofits.

Dr. Ryan Emenaker is a professor of political science at the College of the Redwoods (CR). Ryan has a PhD from Brown University and an MA in Government from The Johns Hopkins University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the "Best Thesis in the area of Legal Studies."

feat. Mark Taylor, Coordinator, Project Rebound & Matt McKindley, Academic Advisor, Klamath-Trinity Instructional Site
Mark Taylor is a Coordinator for Cal Poly Humboldt's chapter of Project Rebound, a First District Appellate Project (FDAP) board member, and a teaching artist for the Prison Arts Collective. After 21 ½ years of incarceration, Mark earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work (2022) and a Master of Social Work (2024), graduating with a 4.0 GPA and earning the distinguished Patricia O. McConkey Outstanding Graduate Student Award.
Matthew McKindley is a College of the Redwoods graduate. He works at the Hoopa Education Center as an Academic Advisor.
